Industries We Serve
When our clients have us design the electrical systems for their automotive showrooms and service areas, we take the time to ensure we are optimizing their systems. We perform the electrical work during normal business hours without disrupting clients. We have also worked with car manufacturing companies. For example, we worked on a project for Volvo where Shoreline was contracted to provide power distributed to all control panels as well as the electrical work for the wastewater treatment plant, Paint mix room, and VarioLoc car shuttles. Shoreline Power was honored to work on the first manufacturing facility in the United States for Volvo! From showrooms to manufacturing facilities, Shoreline Power Services has experience in all the sectors of the automotive industry.
A recent project Shoreline Power completed in the education industry was the new residence hall at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI. This facility has 200 bedrooms, 100 bathrooms, and is designed for 400 students.
Another project in the education industry that Shoreline Power Services is proud to be a part of is the Shooter Detection System installed at Glen Lake Community Schools in Michigan. This is the first of its kind in the state of Michigan and has had zero false alarms for any of the previously installed systems. Shoreline Power Systems is the only authorized installer for this system in Michigan.
The new 52,000 square foot classroom and academic building located on the south side of the main campus of Muskegon Community College is another project that Shoreline Power Services worked on. The new building will be used to teach students about physical activity, health education, and recreation, which is an effort we are proud to have hands in.
Irwin Seating is a Grand Rapids based company with two manufacturing locations for seating. Their seating is often found in places like education facilities, places of worship, cinema seating, performance halls, and arena/stadium seating. We installed new lighting, data cabling, add new electrical wiring for their facility.
Shoreline Power Services has experience with installing electrical systems for many medical facilities. One of the recent project we worked on was the Health Pointe medical care facility in Grand Haven, MI. This 100,000 square foot facility was a joint project between Spectrum Health and Holland Hospital.
Grand Castle in Grandville, MI is a recent residential project that Shoreline Power worked on. The apartment building is 460 units, 12 stories tall, and covers 23 acres. The building design primarily uses concrete for the walls which offers a change from the traditional building types in West Michigan but Shoreline Power Services rose to the challenge.
Shoreline Power also has experience working around current tenants. When the Boardman Lake Apartments in Traverse City changed owners, we completed fresh electrical work. Work involved maneuvering around current occupants in the 9 units and keeping the areas free from debris.
